To commemorate | 追悼する

81 years ago, the Battle of Arnhem took place, as part of Operation Market Garden. This was the largest airborne operation in history, aimed at capturing the bridges at Arnhem and Nijmegen in order to advance more quickly into Germany. The operation failed, resulting in the deaths of thousands of soldiers, including British, Polish, and American troops. Each September, commemorations of this operation are held, including in Arnhem. | 81年前、マーケット・ガーデン作戦の一環としてアーネムの戦いが行われました。これは史上最大の空挺作戦であり、ドイツへの進軍を速めるためにアーネムとナイメーヘンの橋を確保することを目的としていました。しかし作戦は失敗し、イギリス、ポーランド、アメリカをはじめとする数千人の兵士が命を落としました。この戦いの追悼行事は毎年9月にアーネムなどで行われています。

Pro Palestinian Protest | 親パレスチナデモ

Like in many cities across the globe, a pro-Palestinian demonstration took place in Arnhem. On May 5th, the Netherlands’ National Liberation Day, over 300 demonstrators marched from city hall, crossing the John Frost Bridge toward the Malburgen district, before looping back via the Battle of Arnhem monument at the Berekuil. The protest was accompanied by motorcyclists who expressed their solidarity through the roar of their engines.
世界中の多くの都市と同様に、オランダのアーネムでも親パレスチナのデモが行われました。5月5日、オランダの「解放記念日」にあたるこの日、300人以上のデモ参加者が市役所から出発し、ジョン・フロスト橋を渡ってマルブルゲン地区へ向かい、その後、ベレカウイルにあるアーネムの戦いの記念碑を経由して戻るルートを行進しました。デモにはオートバイに乗った参加者も加わり、エンジン音を響かせながら連帯を表明しました。

Welcome in Immerloo | イマールーへようこそ

Immerloo – Het kleinste wijkdeel van de wijk Malburgen stond vrijdagmiddag 1 november in het teken van de feestelijke afsluiting van kunstproject. Vier kunstwerken, gemaakt door kunstenaar Negin Zendegani en dichter Bakr al Jabr, werden onthuld. Immerloo is de meest arme buurt van Nederland waar al bijna 20 jaar door tientallen organisaties op wordt ingezet om de buurt te verbeteren. | イマールー – マルブルヘン地区の中で最も小さな区域であるイマールーでは、11月1日（金）午後、アートプロジェクトの祝賀的な終了イベントが開催されました。アーティストのネギン・ゼンデガニと詩人のバクル・アル・ジャブールによって制作された4つのアート作品が公開されました。イマールーは、オランダで最も貧しい地域であり、過去20年近くにわたり、数十の団体がこの地域の改善に取り組んできました。
