EXPOSING
Social photography has been a form of enjoyment and creative perception since I used my first film still camera as a young teenager. Capturing natural human interaction in the urban environment is often taking a large part of that enjoyment.
I believe in ‘no rule’ photography by trying to avoid cliches in composition, processing and presentation.
In my opinion good photography is a true reflection of a moment decided by the amount of light which is used, and the point in time it’s taken.
Although my heart goes out to social photography and capturing urban behaviour, there is a lot of other photographic work I do. Professionally, since 1999, mostly commissioned and editorial work ranging from news and reportage to travel photography.

ティーンエイジャーの頃。フィルムカメラを初めて手にしたその時から、創作力をもたらす 人物撮影に親しんでいる。都会の人々の自然な会話をキャプチャーする事。それが、その楽しさの 大多数を占めている。
構図・処理そしてプレゼンテーションの決まり事は避けようとしている。写真に「ルールは無い」と信じている。良い写真とは、撮影した時の 光の量によって決まる本当のリフレクションの瞬間だと思う。
都会をキャプチャーするために外の世界に出かけてみると、そこには 写真になるべき作品が数多く存在する。プロのフォトグラファーとして、１９９９年からニュース・旅とルポタージュの委託・編集作業に至るまで携わっている。
